Ok so since it is not likely the biometrics letter will get here at all or on time what should my husband and I do? We have yet to receive any letter since this mistake happened.

We don't know if we should call and reschedule since we wont get letter on time?

I'd keep trying the 800 number. Last month when simbafuzz called, they said they could fax him a copy of the bio appt letter if his did not arrive. (simbafuzz, is that right?)

Monica, just have a fax number ready, and call the 800 number and after explaining the situation, ask them if they could fax you a copy of the letter just so you can finish the bio. I think they do it without hassle. And no need to reschedule, it will just delay the process, like we didn't already have enough of that. Just make sure, you speak to somebody who will listen to you and find a solution, even if it means getting transferred a million times.

And also sweet talk them to see if they can tell you what RFE is about? maybe you can work on getting the docs together after the bio. Just my 2 cents, hope that helps

I guess everyone is different. It is super close to the date I have to get my bio, I really hope this works. I will try it first thing tomorrow and let you know what happens. My case shows an update / touch today but doesnt list what it was

11/05/2009 - first touch is 1 day after biometrics.

Just need to know if you included the I-693 with your AOS package and what is your local ASC office (where you will have your biometrics taken).

There is a MSC number printed on the back of the check but the USCIS system says that it cannot find the case

I still have not got my NOA. Is this normal ?

Desi4ever, some have found that the number on the back of their check is a few digits off their NOA number. Like check number ends in 86, the NOA is 88 or 89.

Hello all. I finally received my RFE letter today. I didn't put copies of our joint sponsor's tax information and proof of citizenship. ouf! Easy stuff. It'll be in the mail tomorrow!!!

Good luck with everybody's RFE. Hope it's as easy as mine!

PS. I think that for stats purposes, my RFE date should be today since I couldn't do anyting about it before now. What you all think?

I called the 1800 number to try and get my biometrics faxed the first guy I spoke to said that they could not do that and put me on hold and my call dropped which turned out to be a good thing because the next person I spoke to told me to give it until Monday. My biometrics she said is scheduled for nov. 19. She said if it is not here by then to call back and they could indeed fax it to me. I guess everyone is different, I must say I have had more luck with women. So now I will wait until Monday.

ugh.... all I want is that EAD approval!! I saw a lot of September filers get their approval the day after biometrics (or at least a couple days after). Got a touch for the bio appointment but nothing after that!

Don't even need the card. Just an e-mail update so I can print it out.

I'm suprised we haven't seen any EAD or AP approvals yet. We may just be days away from starting to see them.
