Good luck to your crazy wife, she might be little too late to make a report:)))

I am not an expert but I think she can not do anything after this point, you r approved and card production ordered anyway:))

you r mistaken too, couldn't you wait one more month

to talk about divorce?

ABUSER spouses dont necessarily abuse physically, the worst one is mental abuse, feeling hearing the threats about deporting, reporting etc everytime marriage has any problems is not easy to put up.

wait for your card and move on with your life as soon as possible.

I hope she can not do nothing to harm you.

good luck

By doing this, she may create some difficulties for you. Do you have your green card already? I assume you're talking about the conditional green card. If you have strong evidence of good faith marriage, you should be fine. However, divorcing right after you get your green card raises a red flag.

Work on marriage and try to save it. Did you go to counseling?

Agreed with others - your green card has been approved, it should be coming in a day or two, and it cannot be revoked. Be sure to get the mail first, maybe your wife will hide it and not tell you it came!

Remember its not for us to judge if the OP married in good faith or not. Hold your horses on those judgment calls. Judging is what the USCIS and the removal courts do *based* on strong evidence. Not *based* on angry revengeful rants, a crying spouse, or emotions. There must be good faith intentions at the time of marriage for conditions to be removed.

A conditional green card can be revoked, although it rarely happens. These terminations are initiated by the ICE branch of the local District office. They could come mainly because of written complaints that the USC believes that it is a sham marriage. Now most of these letters are ignored, but if an Investigations officer happens to have a bad day, then a termination could be issue.

Look I rarely judge anyone but based on the way people are talking in this thread it is coming across as a party over the fact that he got his greencard approved and left his wife when she was no longer of use to him. I am merely expressing a freedom of speach and despite what you said it made me say ewww and it still does. I am sure that if he is legitimate then the USCIS knows and if he's not he will get caught at some point. The governments paperwork system may suck, but they know things.

A conditional green card can be revoked..

Just to clarify - any Permanent Resident card/status (conditional or non-conditional) can be revoked.

:ot2:

yes...very true. Bad typo in my last post. I meant any PR can be revoked.

I would like to respond to this. Currently there are many petitions going on out there regarding marriage fraud and the govt is beginning to wake up and can revoke a 10 year card with proof of marriage fraud. There are immigration investigators out there and also attorney's who take t his to court and sue the party who scammed the green card. I wouldn't be so confident because one gets a 10 year card. Until one is a U.S. citizen, anything can change. There are very powerful people out there. Anything can change as it is happening now.
