I would love to return to live in Italy, not only for retirement, but even before. Hubby and I met and lived there, and had it not been for the low salaries, we would probably still be there now.

He doesn't love it there as much as I do though. We've talked about Spain - and I could definitely live with that. He lived in Seville for a while and I spent about a month there and loved it. I get the feeling they really know how to enjoy life.

I don't see the Philippines on there and certainly wouldn't consider Mexico at all. US citizens are now being kidnapped and killed there.

I don't think Im going anywhere.

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.

US Citizens who go to the freakin shady areas not even Mexicans go, because they wanna get some pot or meds.. get kidnapped and killed.. I'd love to retire in San Miguel de Allende, or Ajijic (biggest USARMY vet community in Meheeco)

I think we're considering retirement in Canada. (Even though it's pretty darn far off.)

I find it strange that it's not on the list. Must be the winter weather :lol:

Oh well.

My parents like Italy and would consider retiring there, but they said there's too many crazy scooter drivers over there.

Or there was during their visit.
