So when exactly did the cousin have time between between being treated like a 'slave' and all the physical abuse to already have another man lined up?

Hi,

I want to share my friend situation here in USA,, she is married but she's not happy to her husband coz her husband makes her as a slave girl ..

They dont file AOS yet , but she has a other man who loves her and want to take care of her ..

I was referring to this thread.

This OP {and her cousin} seem to be all over the place on this one. It is beginning to look like there is something fishy about the whole thing...

You're right.

that won't work. she needs to call the police right after it happens. her skin has to be red or whatever when the police arrive.

the poor little abused immigrant line is getting on my nerves.... get on an airplane out of here!!!

The friend can't switch to another guy before AOS and stay in the US if she entered on a K1. She has to adjust status based on marraige to the K1 petitioner.

She would have to go home and have the new person petition after her divorce is final.

No it doesn't there are provisions in the US law to protect women who are subject to abuse.

She needs to report the abuse and since she entered legally she can get everything corrected to stay here.

She needs a lawyer fast.

#######? Abuse? The OP said NOTHING about abuse... where are you getting this from? The OP just said "..is not happy being married with her husband, she wants to divorced him"

Edit : Just read the rest of this thread

Perhaps she deserved to be kept indoors and not particularly treated well if, in her brief time here, she's already "has a other man who loves her and want to take care of her". Hardly taking her marriage vowes very seriously. (God forbid she only wanted a GC!! )

She came here because of a man she loves, now that she doesn't love him anymore, tell her to do the right thing and book a ticket home!

It appears to me that some members just coached OP on how to commit fraud. "Just say your husband beats you and treat you like a slave." WOW just because the man doesn't work and unable to file OP friend AOS, so now say she's abused. Close the thread now, what different does it make because the other person got all that information to tell her friend. The sad part is that this man is going to be ruined by the likes of some peace of trash. Heck didn't she realize he didn't have much money when he went to visit her in her home country? But it was all about getting out and coming to American. Oh I am so in love while you are in your home country but then get here then your fantacy becomes a reality, and you don't like it. So let's make up some lies to get out of it and still stay here in the great USA. OP friend came to the land of milk and hunny and thought it was all going to be handed to her. Husband can be unemployed, but that's not good enough. No offense but why do Philipinos thank that White men have it all? Or a Black man in the military? Do the right thing and GO HOME if your husband can't afford you.
