Congrats MsSheka and everyone else (sorry I know there is someone else) ... :dance:

I've just come back from 10 snowy wonderful days with my handsome husband. Seems we have all reached the same conclusion. If we do not have NOA2 by end of Feb I will go back and we will wait it out together (on a return ticket so I can fly back for the interview). Unfortunately, work prevents him from making the trip. Hope you're well & as happy as can be considering this process.

Yo Mike! Funny thing - easier than any other time. No questions apart from 'So you're visiting family & friends?' (this is what I ticked on the I-94). I said yes, my first white Xmas. That was it. I had a letter from work, house papers etc. but didn't need it. Had a great CBP Officer considering it was 6am in LA when I landed. We were both so anxious and I was a nervous wreck. But it all worked out, so the Universe is listening.

I had the worst airport moment saying goodbye. How was yours?

My wife has also visited me in the US three times since we filed the I30 in Sep.

She never ran into problems at the Miami and JFK airports

She has had her B2 tourist visa for years though and only stays for short durations

Well maybe I should have gone there for xmas haha. I'm considering a trip over there for a week or so in the near future.

The good-byes were horrible. Disgusting even. I felt like a terrible husband driving the missus to the airport. I knew I should have turned around and just taken her back home!!!

wishing you a quick approval this new year. i am ready with all docs for NVC, i just got my case number yesterday and should be on a roll. Goodluck to you all, i know the wait is tough but you are almost their.

Hi everyone!

It was so nice to come across this thread! I have just come back from spending the last two weeks with my husband in Chile and I am unable to sleep at night just thinking about this visa. It was so nice to read some of the other responses on this page! Finally I feel like there are other people out there who understand what my husband and I are going through.

I don't know how to make my timeline appear (which I have found very helpful when reading all of your posts for the past hour).

Here is the timeline for the K-3 visa:

01-16-09 Engaged

06-10-09 Married

08-01-09 Returned to the states (solo :( )

9-14-09 Filed I-130

9-21-09 I-130 receipt notice (is this NOA1(?)

11-27-09 I-129F filed

12-1-09 I-129F NOA1 (filling fee waived)

Anyone have any ideas as to when I could possibly expect to hear any more news?

I am looking at the online case status right now and the "last updated" column says:

I-130 12/02/09

I-129F 12/03/09
