I have to come for visa on Monday or Tuesday, they will call me...and yes...all the time I was looking in pink paper below my documents and when consul said to me: Welcome to the US and wish me all the best, I was astonished...couldn't believe that I am approved. :star:

I called David immediately after the interview when I got back my cellular. The whole interview was around 1 hour, including the fingerprints and waiting for the consul to check my documents. :thumbs:

The consul was so nice and we had the interview on English. He asked what I prefer, Croatian or English and I said that for me is fine both and then he started with English and untill the end of the interview we spoke on English.

They didn't ask me the evidence of our relationship, only forms and documents. When the lady (IV Assistant) saw my big bag with the plastic dividers and the titles on every divider, she started to make the jokes how I prepared everything and said: Breathe...you have to come for your visa on Monday or Tuesday...and I was surprised because the interview with the consul was after that. :whistle:

The consul asked me about David...he wanted to know so many things like where he is working, what is his job, what I see in David (L):luv: , what we are planning about marriage...uffff...we spoke about 15-20 min.

He wanted to know if I met anybody of David's family when I was in the States, when we will marry and how the ceremony will looks like. Actually he asked me a lot...but at the end when he wished me all the luck...I didn't realize that he approved me.

The lady said to me that she doesn't like to look the evidences of the relationship because it is so sad to see photos with the notices and hearts and to know how long period all of us were apart.

Sooooooooo...Still I can't believe and I will start to believe when I get my passport with visa, but now...honestly... I am soooo happy that I can go back home!!! :dance::goofy:

Decided to pop in here, since I haven't in awhile. We finally got P3 sent back into Montreal on the 23rd after having it for a month. That's more to do with his procrastination than anything, really -- not to mention, we're trying to plan it just right so that I'm up there for vacation when they schedule his interview. (We're praying for End of May - middle of August interview date. Anything within that time frame! lol...)

I'm getting very anxious. I mean, it's still like 8 months until our (hopefully) wedding date, but I want to see him now. I'm so happy that everyone's getting interview approvals, though! I'm stuck trying to decide who I'm going to ask to be our co-sponsor, because I certainly don't make enough right now (full time student - woohoo!) I can't wait until May.

No but I can tell you from now that he won't be coming tomorrow. I had emailed the embassy and they called him and told him it's not printed yet and it might be next, who knows. I can't express how sad I am, I was really looking forward to having him here tomorrow :(:cry::cry2:

Also, I called Delta and it wouldn't be a fee to change if he would travel by Sunday but that's of no benefit since dhl doesn't open on Saturdays :crying::crying::crying:

Congratulations to all of you whose interviews have already been approved. Now the wait for your loved ones is just a matter of days. I have a question, though. Has the new interview fee kicked in already, or is it still being studied by the DOS? I hope it hasn't since my girl's interview is on March 29. Best regards to everyone!!
