Kayla, I swear you are the funniest of all. The things you say when you're upset. That is weird though, I've never heard that message before pressing 1 then o. Did you try calling from a different number and or calling from two numbers at the same time?

Lol @ Jenn! Well Jenn, someone's gotta start the morning off, why not me? I was up researching how much a cruise ship wedding would cost, after two websites: can't afford it! I'm not mad though, I still want to marry the man of my dreams, I just didn't want civil ceremony pictures :-(

Have you thought about a wedding on the beach? Then a reception elsewhere?

Yes Gayla, that's what I'm dieing for!! A beach wedding. I can see my wide width size 8 feet in the sand w' my honey! Gosh I can squeal thinking about it. BUT I see that it's hard to have an affordable wedding here. It costs approximately $4000 to have my wedding in JA at a beach resort. That includes ceremony & reception for 30 ppl & complimentary stay for the bride & groom. I'm GONNA get my dream one, you wait and see :-)

Hi everyone! Hope you are all having a good week and getting close to all the interviews.

We are heading to Ciudad Juarez next week for interview and I'm trying to organize all the paperwork. They told me that I need to bring an original and a copy of my divorce decree, but they don't give you the "original" at the court house, just the certified copy. Is that what the consulate wants?

So I'm now going on 30 minutes on hold for DOS. This last time I called I got a message about the Haiti disaster making hold times long, and then I got hung up on a few times, but now I'm holding.

I feel so bad for taking a spot that someone could really be needing right about now, but I can't help but want to know if anything has changed.

Did it say you needed and Original and a copy? Or.. did it say you needed an original certified copy?

I got confused with what we needed for birth certificate fromTurkey, because the instructions said to sendd the original certified copy.. so I thought we needed the original AND a certified copy of the original.. Turns out we only needed to send the certified copy and we need to bring the original with us..

but Krystle is correct. I would start a new topic and ask the people from your same country! Someone has to have the answer.
