Gaynto: Smiled, a little k-1 baby...Cute!

Kayla:ur Of course neither one of us are comfortable missing out on any part of the whole process. BUT, should we let the slowness of USCIS/NVC and or our Consulate delay our family planning?

PaciencayFe: Is there a reason not to wait? No, no reason. We're just anxious to start a family. (I know, not the best reason)

Guys, I appreciate your input. I'm still confused but what the heck, if it happens, it happens and if it don't, it's for a reason...

Guys, I appreciate your input. I'm still confused but what the heck, if it happens, it happens and if it don't, it's for a reason...

Like I said, since you don't know how long this is going to take, if you aren't comfortable with him possibly missing the pregnancy and birth then you shouldn't do it. If something were to happen, and god forbid that it did, to where you got held up elsewhere in the process he could miss the first few months of your childs life. Is there any reason to why you want to have the baby right now? Is there a reason why this can't wait? I just can't see having a baby while you are apart to not be a good idea in any aspect. I'm not trying to be snotty or mean, I'm just sharing my view on it.

Sure, I'd love to have a baby right now, but I also know that if I can wait to have him be here for good then I can wait until he's here to have a baby. I'm not one of those people who think you can't have a child out of wedlock, I just think it would be an awesome idea to have the father be in the same zipcode, or even state. If something medical were to happen to you during the pregnancy you know that it would just rip his insides apart to be away from you. No one wants these things to happen, but just like with this process we're all going through, you have to hope for the best but prepare yourself for the worst.

EDIT: I just saw that you guys don't have a reason, you're just anxious. That's great and all that you want to start a family, but please at least think about what I've said and consider that things can go wrong, things that you would need and want him to be here for.

Congratulations!

I understand and agree 100% to all the points you made Kayla, you're right in all aspects and no you weren't being mean or snotty, I asked for you guys opinion so I should be able to handle the responses.

So, my mind is made up. I'll hold off on the baby making "project" until he gets here.

Thanks so much for your input, it made a big difference. I myself had thought about everything you mentioned but the excitement and joy of being in love just distracted me from what's really best for me.

I can't even count on two hands how many times the excitement has gotten the best of me. Having a little Mathew would make me the happiest woman on the face of this planet. It would just be one more thing to bring us closer together. But luckily, I've got him to snap me back to reality and tell me stories of how he'll make me steak at 3am, rub my feet, tie my shoes, giggle as I try to get up off the couch, and promise to never ever tell fat jokes. I want to share and experience all of that with him. The most special thing in the world to me would be to have him be at my doctors appointment when they tell me it's a girl(we hope!), and to hear him talk to my belly and give it kisses goodnight.

And, I want to be able to crush his hand while in delivery. I want to tell him what a ####### he is and how he ruined my body forever.

P.S- Practice makes perfect. Mathew and I practiced a whollleeeeee lot when I visited him. I'm STILL walking funny, LOL.

Has anyone else not received NOA2 yet?:(

Gaynto: lol, oh I'll practice alright... I'll practice so much that even when I'm tired I'll still wanna practice!

Kayla: LMFAO! (laughing my f-ing a** off) You are too funny!!

But, word of advice:when you practice till it hurts, just put a ice pack, that usually cools down the heat AND revive it for more practicing!

Mattfromcanadaeh: yes, I haven't received my NOA2 yet... Sweetheart, you're not the only one that USCIS is driving crazy. Take it easy and try not to stress because it's just one a those things that we have no control over.

P.S. Fill In Your Timeline!!!

Wow, Jenn! I'm so happy you got your interview date. I hope Montreal starts giving out interview dates that quickly.

Oh, and I forgot to report back. Rosetta Stone works like a charm. I've learned a lot more in using it 3 times than I did taking that class for a whole semester. It might suck for Turkish, but it's awesome for French.
