Congrats.

As for us... the attorney woes continue. Our waiver packet was prepared by the attorney LAST MINUTE, despite him knowing we'd need it since February. And to top it off, they FedEx'd it to the WRONG ADDRESS. Now, our waiver packet is lost in some black hole in Ireland.

I'm beyond exhausted and upset.

OMG!!! You HAVE to be kidding (although sadly I know you are not)!!! So whats up for the interview??? Can you just re-do the package and send it yourself??? That GD lawyer needs to get up and FIX this ASAP!!!! He needs to do another waiver TODAY and get it out TODAY!!!!

Christeen, I cannot make this sh*t up. :crying:

The package has our waiver, the brief, plus my original hardship letter, with original attachments - affidavits & letters from doctors.

For the past three days, I have been undergoing an ambulatory EEG for my seizure disorder - electrodes attached to my head that are now hurting like you wouldn't believe. I can't bathe, I can't wash my hair, and I have a heavy bag strapped to me with electrodes that are literally GLUED to my scalp.

I seriously think I may have shorted this thing out earlier when I got the news.

I'm in pain, my head and my heart hurt, and I cannot believe I paid $3500 for this "service" I've gotten so far.

6/18/10 - I-601 Waiver Denied, added misrep for checking wrong box on landing card (lifetime ban)

8/31/12 - AAO appeal sustained (THANK YOU, GOD FOR YOUR MERCY)

10/8/12 - USCIS sent file to Consulate

11/28/12 - Visa in hand

12/10/12 - HERE AT LAST! (ALL GLORY TO GOD!)

you got be kidding me... can he track the package and see where it is ???? why did he send it this late any way ??? ,, what in the world is he doing ? i can do this my self,., and i sure don't have a law degree,,, what is going on with this dude ,, i am so so sorry julie.

Awright, I'm thankful for small miracles here.

The electrodes are off and the waiver package arrived with an hour to spare! :dance:

I verified with the doctor's office that the x-rays and sealed packet are ready.

So I guess we're all set for Monday.

What an unbelievably stressful week.

I am now surprisingly calm. We have done all we can do, everything's in order, and it's go-time! :dance::dance: Interview is at 8:15 am eastern time. I don't expect to hear anything until probably 11:00 am or later.

If you're the praying sort, please pray for us. We need this so badly, not just for us, but for people who rely on us to care for them :help:
