how long should we get notice from NVC after giving emails?ours taking so long....we haven't heard any from NVC yet

From lookin at some recent timelines it looks like NVC is getting bogged down by all the recent approvals... From what I can see it is like 10 - 15 days to get NVC#...

14 days on the front end from NOA2 to NVCcase #

From there the petitioners stuff (AOS fee bill, payment, acceptance of AOS package) is about 14-18 days

The benificerary stuff (sned in 3032, acceptance of 3032, bill for IV, payment of IV, and acceptance of 230) is taking about 21-28 days

So total NVC (if you keep up with your case online and through the AVR, keep checking the website for generation of the bills, have ALL your paperwork ready and documents ready to go, and file your e-mail addressed and NO RFE's (in other words, learn the shortcuts available on this site) the total time is around 36 - 45 days...

Of course some people are taking longer... some shorter... But keep on top of your case by checking regularly and most importantly HAVE YOUR PAPERWORK READY!!!!

Best of luck to everyone!

hi cristeen,

it's been 13 days from the day that our case number was assigned...i saw some just got their NVC notice for ds3032 and AOS bill in just 3 days after having the case number....

Another Question, the AOS payment it is now showing as "PAID" but the document sheet was poorly scanned into the system and I can not make any sense of the instructions.

Do I download the I-864 EZ and the cover sheet and mail it to the address provided ?

Or do I call and talk to an operator before I send it in?

Here what the cover sheet looks like:

Sigh. I'm beginning to think I should mail the paper DS-3032. It's been 10 full days now, and I'm just getting tired of waiting for something to happen. I seriously don't understand why this form is even necessary. It's just to establish who they should send further forms to--something that is EASILY communicable over the phone in around 2 seconds.

dont be worried they take 15 days to accept that , that is normal now a days so wait a little more , even mine was accepted after fifteen days

I called NVC today also because its been over 2 weeks now and they told me it doesn't matter- email or regular mail is taking about 3 weeks to process because of how busy they are...I asked her if I should resend the 3032 and she said to hang on because they probably have it but they are just really behind on processing
