:guides:http://www.visajourney.com/wiki/index.php/...he_NVC_ShortCut

It is all in there. As long as your co-sponsor meets the requirements, it will not matter if you are working or not.

From what I have been reading, it seems as if both are being processed at the same speed- via mail or e-mail../

According to the people I've spoken with at NVC, that's true. E-mail is processed in the same batches as as snail mail; it is first-come, first-serve. Some of the earlier guides suggest that snail mail is processed faster. All of the representatives I spoke with--including a supervisor--said otherwise. (They all said the only difference is that e-mail gets to the facility faster.) Then again, I wonder how transparent the NVC ops can be? Who knows.

The person I spoke with said that the e-mails are processed by a third party THEN processed for NVC whereas the snail mail goes to the NVC mailroom???

Hello everyone wow this thread got big in the last 4 days that i haven't been on lol....... Just wanted to update ya on sum info i got early this week. I talked to a very nice person at NVC bc i was confused on the co-sponser thing.... I was told that as long as i am making over poverty level for 2009 i don't have to have a sponser...... this was great news bc two outta my last 3 yrs i didnt meet the requirements but this yr so far i have. I just hope she wasn't a new person that didn't know what she was talking about lol..... I sent in my choice of agent but i haven't got my employment letter yet so im at a stand still until i get it. I hope everyones case is moving along at lightening speed. Good luck.

Question for NVC package FROM BENEFICIARY (DS-3032 and components for DS-230 IV Package)

For a friend of mine (She is doing NVC in sept) -

Per LingChe NVC ShortCut Guide for NVC - the beneficary has to sent NVC the divorce decree.

She is divorced and now remarried.

Does her husband has to send her divorce decree with the DS230 package (with all the documents as per guide)?

God's will...

We're in the same boat - waiting for the DS-3032 to be processed. Hopefully they'll get on that soon. I know that the flood of approvals lately must have increased the workload at the NVC substantially. I'm not as worried about timing now as I was before Ondoy. I'm sure with Manila being in the shape it's in now, the visa interviews will be on hold for a while. In fact I'd be okay with my wife not travelling to Manila until the situation there stabilizes a bit. With so many now homeless, I know it will likely take a while for things to start to get back to normal. That was the situation with New Orleans after Katrina, anyway.

My husband paid IV fee on Friday night and up until now it was displayed as "IN PROCESS" and now all of a sudden the status changed to Not Paid. Did this happen with anyone else?

We did recieve an email from NVC today asking us to pay the $400 fee. However the link on the fee collection website was active since Sept 23. Does NVC not accept payment UNTIL they send out an email?
