Timeline
We did an early Bio in Phoenix , no problem , in and out in 15 minutes .

We were scheduled for Friday anyway , so only 2 days early

:wow: I went to my biometrics today too, and it was phoenix also same thing 15 minutes and done.

Interesting , we were there at about 10 am , give or take .

Went to the state fair in the afternoon for a few hours .

Now back home near Sedona

Hahahahaha i was there at 10:30, OH yeah the fair is cool too much to eat yummie yummie i went there two weeks ago the stone temple pilots were there in concert . it was awesome

Wow!... that's so fast... Congrats!... You can definitely breath from the government until the renewal... :lol::dance:

You're right about the sequence of their approval... I've got first the registration for permanent residency before telling me that my AOS is approved... :lol:

But I am getting touches....

09/13/2011 - CSC received the package

09/15/2011 - CSC cashed check and NOA1 Received

09/26/2011 - Biometrics Appointment Notice Date (Sent)

10/13/2011 - Early Biometrics

10/19/2011 - Biometrics Appointment

10/26/2011 - GC expiration

11/25/2011 - Received RFE

11/28/2011 - Sent response to RFE

01/13/2012 - Ordered card production (Approved)

01/19/2012 - 10 yrs GC received

Received the EAD card today just 8 days after biometric appointment. Pretty good, I think.

Immediately drove 4 mi. to SS office but it is just pending in their computer. I am too fast. Oh well. We will just wait a few weeks for that.

Watching for my mailman now is like when I am expecting a refund check :blink:

Out of interest did you also apply for AP? Just I have you down as not applying for EAD or AP. :unsure:

Just out of curiosity, is it the pic you send in with your application or the biometrics pic you get on the GC? Not that it matters that much but... the one I sent in was really awful and the one I took in biometrics turned out really well

07/23/09: received SSN

08/17/09: Passed Driving test

08/22/09: Married on beautiful Mackinac Island, MI

08/31/09: Mailed AOS Package

10/20/09: Received AP

10/21/09 Received EAD card

12/7/09 AOS APPROVED!

12/14/09: Green Card arrived in mail. Happy Days!

It's taken 18 months from applying for K1 to receipt of Green Card! Thank God it's over until 12/7/11

Here we go again...
