I always lived in a city called Manila..and my husband is originally from New York (but now in Las Vegas). He said he's tired of living in a city so that scared the h3ll out of me (and freaked me out a bit)..! I'm not sure but I think country life in US is far different from Philippines so I guess, I will calm down for now...

Depends what you consider country. I highly suggest not living in a major metropolitan area. I have lived in California and Seattle most of my life and just moved back to the Central Oregon area and I gotta say I love it here. I dont have to deal with the crime and traffic. People attitudes seems a lots different too, people will to help you out or let you into traffic.

i grew up in the province, moved in to the city, manila and abroad (years ago) therefore i know what kind of place do i want to live...my husband and i are the same, we both like to live in a quite place...so we're glad that oklahoma city is a quite one, people are polite and helpful and less of crime. but, whether we live in a country or city, doesnt really matter to me for as long as my husband is with me, even if its in iraq im ok... :star:(L)(F)

The countryside setting has outwardly friendlier people and healthier environment. Yet, it’s always a consideration if there’s an accessible bank, school for the kids, hospital, supermarket, or link to communication. Just my thought.

we live in western Oregon in the country, its beautiful, and there are not loads of cars or people.

we like it.

going to the store is a bit far there is one that is closer to us but so expensive u need to do our shopping about 19 miles or so from our home.

its nice not to have ur neighbors in ur back pocket.

City or Country?, Which one would you prefer to live in?

I like both..I like City as well as Country.

In general people who lived in the City are more laid back, open minded, multicultural..easy acces to department stores,Hospitals etc.

in the Country fresh air;and quiet

I think Las Vegas is a cool place to live in.....You should be worry if you are living in Mississippi cause most people there spent their whole life living in that place; and they are NOT used to seeing people from different countries....they are very conservative...moreover there are no places to go except you go fishing in the man made river every weekend, or go to flea markets, there are more produce and alot cheaper.you'll be driving a big pick up truck there most people there use pick up truck. :innocent: it's annoyed me cause they are driving so slow.

 Yeah, when he means country, he probably means something completely different from what you imagine. There are a lot of smaller towns that are within 20 miles of the city, so you're never too far away from the city life.

Peace to All creatures great and small............................................

But when we turn to the Hebrew literature, we do not find such jokes about the donkey. Rather the animal is known for its strength and its loyalty to its master (Genesis 49:14; Numbers 22:30).
