London got our Packet 3 docs! We requested an interview for mid-February to mid-March...although some people have been waiting since 11/09 to get an interview! Hopefully we'll get one then :)

I'm so glad to get to call DOS every day now! Exciting!! David will call tomorrow to get his medical set up as well since the doctors didn't have their schedules out until tomorrow for January.

Grats! Each step forward is so happy :)

I'm picking up an exam today to schedule the medical for next week! Hoping the new rule aplies then, and I don't need to take the HPV vacine.

Congrats! And it's so true, I got to feel better also when I got mine!

And I did my medical yesterday. What a busy day... 3h in a bus, then dr, then run to two different clinics for 2 different exams, then 3h back home, and today I'll be taking the last vaccine and sending by fax that I did it. And then I can breathe and gain weight with holiday foods, and probably lose it by beign nervous the rest of January

I believe you need one that says your full name, your parent's full name (both of them), the place you were born, the date, the signature of whoever did that inscription on the "official book", etc. In Brazil, the full version is a whole sheet of paper, full of official writing, with the number where in the offical book you can find it, etc etc. Wait for a Canadian answer though, but if in doubt and with short time, just go after a longer version, shouldnt cost much.

Finally another Canadian here! Yes you need a different certificate, it was filled out when you were born but my parents never requested a copy and yours may not have either. You can apply for it online, I assume (I live in Ontario and was able to, not sure about other provinces). You will need a guarantor and as much information about your birth as possible. Get one of your parents to help if you can. It cost me $35 Canadian in Ontario (if you've never had a copy), $45 to replace the copy, more if you order it by express delivery. Mine came in less than 3 days. :D

yayyy, the USE in London has logged our packet 3 documents and we are now eligible for an interview! *happy dance*

Of course, it looks like they only assign interview dates once a month, so I'll probably have to wait until January to find out. Still though, visa stuff moving along!
