Just wanted to share!

We just had our AOS interview this morning at the St. Louis Field office. It was sooo fast. We waited for about 5 minutes, they called us 15 minutes early, and the interview took about 15 minutes total!

Only there were a couple of things that were confusing...

1. no translator.... I ended up translating? It was kind of awkward, I was concerned that that would be a strike against us... but hubby was just to nervous to summon his english ;) The girls (both immigrants) at work thought the interviewer was 'tricking' us, to see how well we communicated. ?

2. No clear answer. She never said, you are approved. or anything like that. She took his advanced parole papers and said these are null and void now, and told us how to file to lift conditions in two years...so I kind of assumed, but I was still confused. I just realized now when I checked our status online and it says card production was ordered!

oh well, not complaining!

I just realized that today is one year to the date EXACTLY of when we filed for our K-1. weird. nice to breathe again.... it's been a loooonnnng year!
