Ah, Corazon was a she. Her husband was an opposition leader against Marcos. Marcon had her husband first exiled and then murdered when he tried to come back. His wife, Corazon, ran against Marcos and lost due to a rigged election. The military had a coup and installed her as president. She was known for the "people power" revolt.

Well it means heart in Spanish but in Mexico I've never met a single soul named Corazon, maybe Pain which is Dolores but corazon? neva'
