Have faith everyone!!! I was kind of worried it was going to take longer than everyone else's because of where my husband is from but that didn't seem to matter at all!!! I just hope that everyone else gets through ok too!!!

See you on the NVC thread!!!

This is exactly what I mean - an Egyptian guy approved more quickly than (and before) a British girl when usually males from the Middle East take much longer than everyone else (and yes, of course it's unfair that's the situation, everyone should take roughly the same time). Ah well, back to waiting :)

I don't have Glaswegian habits. I come from the civilized side of the country!

Yes Boston is said to be the most european city in America. I love New England. It's way better than the old one! The life style is similar to home and Boston is the closest airport. But the winters are sooo cold! I didn't know what cold was until last new year.

Hehe, sorry to any Glaswegians out there, but I love Edinburgh, such a wonderful city :)

Boston that cold? Are you not hardened by the North Sea lol?

Yes I thought I was hard and I could handle cold but when I stepped outside at new year I screamed like a little girl! It's the kind of cold that you worry your ears will snap off!

I've got a visit to look forward to soon tho. I haven't been for 5 months. Once I am there and settled in living married life and not wanting to come back then I'll start feeling the frustrations again and be even more annoyed about how unfair this whole system is. I can understand the US government trying to stop people from marrying a US citizen just to get into the country and doing checks to make sure the relationships are genuine but if you come from a country that has a similar standard of living to America the only reason you would want to marry a US citizen and move to America would be for love. I have a very good standard of living. I have a good job and a house and 2 cars. The only thing that is missing from it is my wife. Can I have a visa now please?

P.S. Does anyone want to buy a house and 2 cars?
