We had our interview and were put on AP. We know the statistics and feel everything will be ok and done with in a timely manner. But I can't help but logging onto this site on an hourly basis as if I was going to receive an answer from here on the status of my case (LOL). Anyone else do the same thing?

I wander what's all that with the AP's lately? Some friends were put on AP as well. I thought usually they'd put on AP people from muslim countries?

however,

Our case was a bit wierd. In our opinion, we got put on AP because NVC didn't have a chance to do it's dew deligance on our case. We requested and expedite when it reached NVC do to a medical emergency. Fortunately it was approved. Unfortunately it was approved before NVC did all the required background checks.

By the time it got to the consulate, we received a call from the embassy and got an appointment for 1 week later. I can honestly say that they tried to help get the expedite request processed. Unfortunately we believe it landed us in AP, but with God's grace, it will all be over soon.
