An African woman has married her dog because she said he has the same qualities as her late father.

Please tell me they're talking about a dance

Please tell me they're talking about a dance

Emily Mabou, of Aburi, Ghana, married her 18-month-old dog in a ceremony this week attended by a priest and local villagers, Ananova reported.

It was not clear what breed the dog was, however, Mabou said she had been praying for a life partner who would have all the qualities of her dad.

“My dad was kind, faithful, and loyal to my mum, and he never let her down,” she said.

The 29-year-old’s family boycotted the wedding, which they said was “a stupid step to combat her loneliness.”

But Mabou said she had been in relationships with many men who were “skirt-chasers and cheaters” and plans to raise children with her new husband by adopting.

Mabou added, “My dog is kind and loyal to me, and he treats me with so much respect.”

Especially when she’s holding the dog food bag.

Bet he’s a tail-chaser, too:

An African woman has married her dog because she said he has the same qualities as her late father.

That says a lot about dad. Sniffs people's crotches, drinks out of the toilet, pukes on the floor, and leaves copious gobs of hair all over the furniture....

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.

She married a dog because he reminded her of her father... which means she'd be ok with marrying her father?

Yeah...and they think the marrying a dog part is weird
