I dont think i really understand your question. are you asking something about the age difference and if that impacts your interview at the embassy?

or whether it matters when the case arrives at the embassy and how old you are then?

I think the question is pretty plain. Would the consol at the US Embassy take the age difference as a factor. After reading many American Chinese sites I would think.............. NO, if you are a rich American. Most of those men are older, rich, and want much younger Chinese wives. They get them. They buy them essentially.

i disagree with u USAGROOM

i think people fall in love

they dont shop for wife

i have a 33 years age difference but i am very happy with my wife

since we met we never ever discuss the age

she never ask me and even her parents before the wedding never said anything about the age

when u love someone the age has no bearing.

BTW how much u paid for ur bride?

if only one visit to actually meet each other then yes it could be a problem. make sure to get more visits before the interview. be prepared to answer any questions regarding the big age difference, get all of your evidence of relationship in order....

My bride to be is the same age as me. I did not pay for a wife, jerk.

I never said anything about love or Pinos. I was very specific. BTW, how much did you pay for your bride who is young enough to give you great grandchildren?

Hope you are happy.

Age is just a number. It does not impact the visa.

It shouldn't, but unfortunately it all too often does.

agreed!

it may or may not impact the VISA, depends on how the person prepares for the interview. expect questions and probably some grilling from the Visa Officer....

Letz see some statistics to back your claim, plz. Nowhere in USCIS petition/visa requirements does it mention age as a exclusionary factor in petitioning a person of majority age.

this is not a USCIS issue, it's the embassy/consulate issue, every embassy/consulate have their own specific rules.
