okay grrrr....I got an RFE on the immunization records. I sent it to dr arnold they told me to do everything and for some reason I got an RFE and im not sure what to do...any suggestions from anyone.

it states that : you failed to submit proper documentation of immunization for the Form 1-485 applicant....

I dont get it. this is all we need right now.

And his friend was late getting him to the biometrics appt so they took his paper and told him that they will rescedule him. Now shoud we write a letter or just hope that they are rescheduling him?

From what I've been told, USCIS is cracking down on this and occasionally they reject this document if you are out of state.

Now I was told this by a nurse at a California civil surg. office, so I can't verify the accuracy. She said that they had been getting alot of people in the last few months that had gone to Dr. Arnold but were forced to redo the forms with an in state doctor after RFEs.

That's bullshit, it really is. Not saying that what you're saying isn't true, lancer, but just that USCIS are so out of order here. If more of their poxy civil surgeons were less hell bent on ripping new immigrants off, then perhaps less of us would go to Dr Arnold in the first place, ffs.

Maybe the sealed envelope was misplaced within your petition? I imagine USCIS Service Centers like gigantic overflowing piles of paper

But what matters is, call Dr.Arnold or all the doctor's near you to get that I-693 filled out again and send it back. I know it sucks, but there are just 30 $ and a few weeks wait between you and the GC, so go ahead.

Good luck to you! :star:

Since you already sent the form from Dr. Arnold, you are probably better off getting the form from a local CS and sending it in.

This was just carelessness on your husband's part, don't blame the friend. If the friend is late for something this important, call a taxi and get new friends.

I totally agree. The whole system needs a check and balance system. IE. you go to a CS and when they refuse to do it without a medical we should be able to report them and they either do the record or lose their CS license.

EXCUSE ME??? Carelessness??? you cannot say that. My husband is not driving. we live 2 hours away from the nearest service place so just catching a cab has nothing to do with it. Maybe u should know ur facts before u make an opinion.

I called a Civil surgeon they had listed on the USCIS website and he doesnt do immigration stuff anymore haha i guess even he got sick of it. So i called the customer service and found one about 30 some miles away so I am going to try and call them tomorrow for some more information. I do not want to waste my time with the infopass cuz i heard and read that it was just a waste of time and they dont tell u anymore then anyone else does. has anyone ever had one before?

I think that they lost my husbands medical from haiti too sooo rahh i dont know right now. i just want to have this stuff sent in so we can be on our way...
