I found out at US appt. yesterday that we're expecting a boy! Hubby is so proud. My mother already has two grandsons (1 from my only bro, 1 from my only sis) and we were hoping for a girl so she'd finally have a granddaughter but we're adding boy #3 to the pack.

I knew when I found out I was pregnant it was a boy (I told hubby and we put a friendly wager on it). Did any other moms or moms-to-be have that gut feeling and were correct on the gender?

I had that feeling with both pregnancies - I could not explain it, I just knew!!

OMG i cant believe i am saying this but I AM PREGNANT!!!!

i went to the doc today for some birth control and my check up... well the nurse wanted to take a urin test just to make sure cuz i havent gotten my periode yet.. well after that i went in to the exam. room and wanted to get undressed but the nurse said no cuz the doc needed to talk to me first.. i knew something was up.. i heard them talking about some girl that just got preggers again and i started to cry.. well the doc came in and said i am preggers again!! he did do the check up and everything but since i didnt get my periode its hard to tell how far i am.. but after the size of my uteris i should be around around 11 weeks.. that week when i got back from germany.. my EDD is feb 20 2oo8..

my first docs appt is august 15 wich is the date i found out i was preggers LAST YEAR with damion.. lol

Anyone know how accurate are the ultrasounds to find out the sex of the baby?

I am trying to see if my sister's hand me downs will be any good in the futre...j/k

But serious how accurate is that ultrasound?

the normal ultrasounds were not very clear on this pregnancy, but when I had the 4D ultrasound - very clear!! Good Luck

Yep I feel for you - I'm nervous too!

I'm booked in for a c section August 13th, my doctor wanted it done August 6th but we couldn't get in - hopsital is fully booked for that week.

The only way I'll be going in before that is if I just go into labor before hand and then they will do an emergency c section.

Anne! Wow! Congratulations! I can image you are in quite a state of shock right now! We have the same due date! I guess your new little baby didn't want to be an only child! I wish you the best It will be fine. My best friend growing up was 10 months younger than her sister and they were best friends. It is actually pretty neat for the babies. I know it will be hard for you, and that is all you can think about right now, but don't worry. It will all work out and you and your husband will be just fine. Congratulations on your little surprise!

thanks girls.. i am still in shock.. i cried all day yesterday and i couldnt sleep all night.. i do have some symptoms but i thought it just cuz i dont sleep so much since damion still wakes up every 3-4 hrs at night.. and lets just say i am not eating how i should too.. its hard to find time to eat with a new born anyways.. and i am not a big eater.. well now i know why i felt like this.. hubs is still in shock.. not a good one though.. hey ace13 do u know when u got preggers.. i guess i got preggers end of may.. the 29 or the 30.. cuz thats the first time we had sex after damion was born..

Anne-I am sure you must have been very shocked! But others have said encouraging things and I agree, you can do it.

As for gender, we definitely want to find out. But I really don't know what I am having. Half of the people I know think girl, and the other half think boy! I go back and forth every day about what I feel the baby is. Hopefully in little over a month or so we will know. I will be happy with either, because they both have plus points for us.

If it's a boy, that would be great because there hasn't been any baby boys in my immediate fam or Suj's fam in over 20 years! He was the only boy in his fam, and has 4 sisters! In my fam was just me and my sister. And his sisters who have had children had girls. So a boy would be a nice change. But if it's a girl, that's exciting because I love baby girls too and love the clothes for baby girls and I know so many sweet baby girls.

Yes...I chart and I am 100% sure we conceived on May 29th. I had my temp rise on the 30th. Wow...what are the odds? I am feeling pretty good right now...I am sure your body isn't sure how to feel...have you had an ultrasound yet?

no not yet.. my first docs appt is on the 15th.. last year we found out i was preggers with damion 1 day later.. weird.. lol i am 100% sure too that i got preggers on the 29 or 30.. guess hubs had super duper sperms on that day..

ANNE: OMG, I'm having goose bumps. I thought I was preggo too after about three months but I knew it couln't really be because I'm breastfeeding and taking the pill so we have double protection but I did show some symptoms of pregnancy. Congratulations on this pregnancy. I hope it'll be easy.

Adam's ear infection is gone BUT he reacted allergic to the amoxicillin (penecillin) that the doctor gave him. He got diarhea and a terrible rash yesterday. He's on benadryl right now and sleeping all day. Hope he'll be getting better soon. Here's a picture that we took yesterday (if you look real close you can see his tooth on the bottom left)

Eveline-Aww poor guy! I had the same allergic reaction to amoxicillin a few years ago. It was awful. I was on benedryl for at least a week. I hope he gets better soon!

I am finally getting excited about this baby! It is starting to feel real...

We are planning on going to Italy shortly after the baby is born...and I ordered this shirt...It says "I love grandma" I thought it would be sweet to have the baby wearing it when we arrive. Am I nuts to think it is ok to travel with a 3 month old?

I travelled with my son, London to NY when he was four months, didn't have any problems at all.
