Regarding part B of the I-129F

Hi again,

we're in the process of wrapping up the very last things before filing. Have done a lot of reading and finally got all the documents we need to file our K1 package. I was just sitting here filling out the I-129F and under part B, 13, it asks for the present address of our son.

My problem here is the available space on the form. Next to country of birth, there is this little box and there is no way I can input both street address, postal code plus city. What should I put? Just the street address, or..? Any help would be much appreciated - just got a very few things to fill out before we're ready to begin our journey :star:

Continuation sheet - list the question number, and the information.

My Advice is usually based on "Worst Case Scenario" and what is written in the rules/laws/instructions. That is the way I roll... -Protect your Status - file before your I-94 expires.

WARNING: Phrases in this post may sound meaner than they were intended to be. Read the Adjudicator's Field Manual from USCIS

I had the same problem. Addresses in Vietnam often don't have a street name and number, but they might have the name of the village, commune, ward, district, town, city, province, etc. I made a separate attachment for addresses. On the I-129F I wrote "see attachment", and on the attachment I specified the line number and description that the address applied to.

12/15/2009 - K1 Visa Interview - APPROVED!

12/29/2009 - Married in Oakland, CA!

08/18/2010 - AOS Interview - APPROVED!

05/01/2013 - Removal of Conditions - APPROVED!

Thank you both for the quick replies, I will make yet another sheet to go along with the package :)

My situation is similar if so, we also use district and province, as well as postal codes. I'll make a note for the attachment in the box like you did and hope for the best. Thanks again.

Yep. Add another piece of paper. Just make sure you identify you name as petitioner, your fiancees name as beneficiary and which question it is in answer to, specifically, Part B, question 13. You can have more than one answer on a continuation if it is necessary, but clearly identify each one.

No, not specific

What I used:

__________________________________________________________________

(YOUR NAME) Petitioner

(Fiancee's name) Beneficiary

I-129f Petition for Fiancee Visa

Continuation Sheet

Answer to Question 13, Part B

Blah, blah, blah

Answer to Question 18, Part A

Blah, blah, blah

etc.

_____________________________________________________________________________

As long as it is CLEAR who's petition it is an attachment to and which questions are being answered, the exact format is not important
