You say it like its a bad thing, so what if soccer isnt as huge in the USA as it is the rest of the world. Were different here, and I like it that way.

Geez, I'm happy of course but what a horrible game! Brasil spent the entire time trying to get a penalti and got lucky with that free kick at the end. Africa played great.

I can't believe they beat Spain, because the Spanish players are MUCH better actors.

Not nearly as good of actors as the Argentine side :whistle:

Spain will pull it together and win the WC!!!! Or at least prevent England from winning it!! :rofl:

LOL. I just think they should learn to hold the same knee the whole time they are rolling around on the ground in agony...is it the right? the left? the right? And he's up and running again...

My Spanish prof (in Spain) always said that she preferred the English team...because they lost, but they lost with PASSION.

I don't doubt it was a good result from USA, despite the lack of significace to the game.

Not really, Confederation Cup is taken seriously in Brasil, and this team is probably pretty much what we're taking to the World Cup next year.
