i totally agree with u.but i just have some concerns here.why is it that mods allow insults thrown at us and when we answer back ..we get a notice of disapproval?im just askin...like at the other thread...we were so insulted by this woman from d iron curtain and when i answered back i got a notice?and to think that comparing to the words i used is just a speck to the words she hurled at filipinas..unfair

I would just like to clarify that mods do not "allow" any behaviour which violates the Terms of Service. Just because you are not aware of any actions taken behind the scene, does not mean that consequences are not being enforced.

I totally agree with Krikit..... The Mods do an excellent job here on VJ. Sometimes it is hard for them to be 2 places at one time. I wouldn't want their job.... NO WAY!!!

I lost my feeling of self-assurance on the mods a long time ago! That was after my account was suspended twice (one for 12 hours and the other for 1 week) but I believe nothing was done to the regular phantoms and gangsters and Filipina bashers who were involved in the fracas.

Unfortunately, there are people on here that thrive on fukcing up someones day. That's another thread though. What bothers me the most is when I see so called grown men attacking the women here. It doesn't matter if it is a Filipina or any woman from another country. It shouldn't happen! I personally don't try to get involved with these problems here. It's hard like Hell sometimes to keep my mouth shut, but I just remember that it's easy for these people to hide behind their computers and try to make life miserable for others. As the old saying goes...."Big mouth don't make a Big man"....

I understand how you might feel. I agree that there are gangsters and phantoms and bashers on here, but all in all, I think the Moderation Team here do an excellent job considering the amount of senseless ####### that goes on here any given day.

I really like when the mods let newbies post wild stories about how their Filipina has left home, runaway, ended up at a ICE detention center or the Filipina that SLAPS the USC for basically doing nothing or the Filipina who's mom is demanding cash from the USC before she'll stop interfering with their relationship (stories are numerous). The mods let these stories go on for pages and pages all the while, from a newbie with no track record. Even worse, Filipinas jump into the drama most of the time siding with the USC's sob story, taking a newbie with absolutely no history on VJ at his word.

If a newbie has no "real" history, the newbie should be shut down fast, but our MODS let yet another story about a wild Filipinas acting out of control on here over and over again.

Logically, people don't wake up one day, join VJ so they can post an incredible story. But it happens, suddenly, the USC, after his Filipina ran wild, found the need to find VJ to post his remarkable story. Prior to his Filipina running wild, all throughout the K-1 or K-3 process, he was no where to be found, but wow, he quickly finds VJ hours after his Filipina goes nutz. Interesting.

I understand what you're saying, but it would be next to impossible for a Mod to distinguish Fact or Fiction when ever these wild stories appear. I agree that things get out of hand really quick sometimes, but as long as the TOS rules are followed, there is nothing they can do. I have noticed lately that threads are be locked before it gets too nasty.

None of it is perfect, but I see that the Mods are trying to keep peace and harmony here on VJ. I couldn't and wouldn't do their jobs here on VJ....

As you see some people still love to bash, even in this topic...., meaning we can not control their mind on how and what they will post in this forum.

The bottomline is, if the topic does not interest you or to others, and you think you cant help and will not say anything good.. dont answer or say anything at all.

Anyways, I just wanted to add also that I agree with you. We have different standards and opinions which everyone should respect.

On my experience naman, in fairness to those who PM me, though they were a pain in the thread for awhile, they did mellow-down after a while to the point that they were being nice already. So even if they didn't apologize in the thread, it was ok with me already.

Sis, just look at it this way. Even though you felt disrespected and he didn't apologize in the thread, you still proved to be the more respectable or the better person. For a person to insult or disrespect someone, especially in public, it proves the kind of person he is. What's done is done. I don't think any public apology can change that.

I don't know to others but as per myself, whenever I read posts, I somehow get a feel of the person's character based on the words that comes out from that person and how that person say those. I want to believe that it's the same to other readers, that's why as much as possible, when I say something, I want to be as careful as I can be. Though, I must admit, I'm only human. There are times that I get pushed into the edge.

With the previous thread where I joined, I thought it was all over. I had no idea that there's this person fuming in anger because of me. I'm thankful to some filipinas who took care of her for me. Though somehow I felt bad because I wasn't able to fight for myself. I just look at it as a blessing in disguise. I was thinking if I was online when she attacked me, with all the bad words she said about me, as much as I want to be diplomatic, I'd probably lose my control as well. That thread will probably be online for awhile and many people will still be able to read it. Even though the people who will read it don't know me, I wouldn't want those people to think that the person behind my screen name is a horrible person because of what I've posted.

That's just for me though...

Anyways, having said that, I think my concern has been heard already. I think it's already up to each and everyone what he/she wants to do with it. It's time for me to say goodbye and this time it's for real. Hehehe...Thank you for all the inputs, good and bad. Go Pinays!!!

Syempre kung ikaw ang OP, tapos magbigay ng di kaaya-ayang post yong tarantadong yon patungkol sa mga Filipina or sa yo, kahit pa gusto mong pairalin ang diplomasya, di mo maiiwasang sagutin rin ng pabalang. Di lang naman kasi pagkatao mo ang pinagtatanggol mo, kundi pati yong pagka-Pilipino mo.

Kung iyong titingnan, bihirang-bihira kang makakita ng thread dito na inumpisahan ng mga Pilipino na puro pang-gagago sa taga-ibang bansa dahil di naman natin ugali yon. Lumalaban lang tayo kapag kinakanti, pero di tayo nag-uumpisa ng gulo. Kaya di mo masisi kung ma-highblood ang mga kapwa Filipina natin sa mga pinagsasabi ng mga tarantadong yon.
