Unfortunately, I was obsessed with the Backstreet Boys when I was in middle school. My room was literally wallpapered with posters of them for about a year. Thank goodness that didn't last!! At my university there was a girl who was still obsessed with Nsync. She would wear nsync tshirts and sunglasses and her dorm room was covered in posters of them. While I am embarrassed about my previous Backstreet Boys obsession, I think it's somewhat acceptable in 12 year old girls. But I just don't get it at all in 20 something year old girls. There is one thing to like the music, whatever...but to be obsessed at that age with a boy band is ridiculous...in my opinion! I hope I'm not offending anyone!

I'm 51 years old. When my teenage daughter got into BSB and NSYNC I heard it constantly...until...I TOO learned to love them! I still have some CD's that she was going to throw away and listen to them about once a month.

I was already in high school by the time the Backstreet Boys came out so I was too old for an obsession, although I still liked some of their songs.

I took my daughter to see N'SYNC when she was 6 or 7. I actually gained some appreciation for them at that concert. I admit, I didn't hate it.

Went through her Hanson stage. At least they wrote their own songs and played instruments.

Now, she's trying to get me to listen to the Jonas Brothers. Not going to happen.

Wacken, apparently Donny Osmond was my first crush. I have 4 older siblings who ALL listened to them, so I guess around age 3 I started getting all moony-eyed over him.
