I don't know where the rich text editor is so leaving it for the pros. Got our letter today for biometrics July 17th :dance::dance: One step closer to the end. :dance::dance::dance: . Come on bio letters for the rest of you.

Just got my biometrics appointment date (July 10).

This is weird.... I just got an NOA saying 'Appointment Cancelled' (No need to appear at ASC). It means they cancelled my biometrics for July 10 which is in Chula Vista (county of San Diego). The thing is this letter and the biometrics letter both have the same notice date which is 6/18/2009. Maybe they made a mistake in setting the appointment. I can't avoid the biometrics cause I paid for it ($80). I'm not at all worried since my documents are pretty extensive and my wife and I have twokids. Its just that this probably could cause some delay. any ideas?

Maybe appointment cancellation is related to green card production delay as reported by USCIS....

Permanent Resident Card Production Delays

USCIS is announcing that applicants may experience up to an eight week delay in the delivery of their permanent resident card while we are in the process of upgrading our card production equipment. USCIS Field Offices will be issuing temporary evidence of permanent residence in the form of an I-551 stamp to applicants approved for permanent residence at the time of their interview. You will need to take your passport to your appointment. If you do not have a passport, you must bring a passport style photo and government issued photo identification to receive temporary evidence of permanent residence.

If the application is approved subsequent to your interview or by a Service Center or the National Benefit Center, the applicant should bring the above documents to an INFOPASS appointment to be issued temporary evidence of permanent residence in the form of an I-551 stamp.

I received a similar notice. It has the same notice date as my bio appointment notice, 06/16 and posted on 06/25. Not sure what to make of it, but I had my bio taken before I got this notice. Keep me posted, danieljoaquin, once you receive a new biometrics appointment notice. Hopefully this wouldn't be a major problem for us.

Hi June Filers,

I just wanted to introduce myself, and wish you all a speedy process without any complications! I filed our I-751 on 6/15 and received the NOA on 6/23. Hopefully, we will get a letter with a Biometrics appointment shortly. Take care!

09/11/07-Visa Interview in CDJ, Mexico for CR-1

09/13/07-Returned to US after I-601 approval

10/26/07-Received a Welcome Letter

11/05/07-Received Permanent Resident Card

06/15/09-Mailed out I-751 packet to remove conditions on residence
