Delays in card production...

Is anybody aware of recent delays in production of physical green cards. It usually takes less than two weeks after 'Card Production Ordered' message appears as the status of the case. I have been waiting for more than two weeks now and was wondering if anybody else is in the same boat.

I have heard from a member of VJ that facility that produces physical cards is going through some remodeling and hence the reason for the delays.

Any body else has any other information about it??

I had the interview 2 weeks ago - no card yet, even though the information on the site says that it was ordered in production on 15 May, and I got my Welcome notice on 21 May. Looks like really there are some delays though it mostly affected the ones who are removing the conditions (which is discussed in the link given above). But I know several people from the other forum who had their AOS interviews on first and second weeks of May and none got the physical GC yet :angry: What surprises me is that there is no official information on USCIS site... If there going to be the delays why not to announce about it so that people are at least informed??? And now all we know are just rumours... Well, there is nothing to do but wait, and of course to call USCIS if there is still no card after 30 days from card production date.

Approved May 1st, 10 year card, no card received yet. Plenty of people reporting "no card yet", mainly those approved in May or late April (the most recent months anyway).

Maybe a moderator can consolidate the threads?

same here. I was the one that told the I-Migrate about the delay. I had heard it from my lawyer yesterday. seems like they only sent it out to the representatives. I also haven't found any official statement yet.

thecanuckgirl - it is very strange that you have not received your card yet. I know for a fact that a few VJ members were approved at a much later date and have received their physical card withhin two weeks of their approval.

My assumption was that folks who got approved late April or early May of this year were the ones the ones experiencing delays. Your situation is a bit concerning for, I guess, everybody.

Good luck to you and all of us who are awaiting physical cards...

I heard that they were making some upgrades to the facilities or machine. We were approved on May 19th verbally but have not even received the welcome notice. Neither has the status online changed from pending and we also have not received any emails from CRIS on card production. I'm beginning to wonder whether I dreamt that we were approved. :-(

That is true, I have really noticed that delay too.

I don't know but it seems to me USCIS has not been working for almost a month ;

NO GREEN CARD PRODUCTION

NO INTERVIEW NOTICE LETTER

What is going on ?

"Patience is the key to the paradise (US Citizenship, in our case)"
