patience! This can be a long and painful process. USCIS can take up to 6 months to process a petition, all the time never indicating a touch on the system.

OUR TIME LINE Please do a timeline it helps us all, thanks.

Is now a US Citizen immigration completed Jan 12, 2012.

Based on your timeline - you're looking at a NOA2/Approval some time around July/August (around 120 days between NOA1 and Approval).

Nope, no need to worry yet! I filed for a K-1 Visa on January 8th, 2 days ago I finally received some news... an RFE, (simply forgot to check a box on the I-129F form) So like the others said, this can, and most likely will be, a long process that can take up to 6 months at the USCIS.

I was about to pull my hair out after not hearing anything at all! So, you will probably hear this a lot, have patience, the government is slow in their processing.

I wish you the best and hope you hear something soon!

Touch means that someone at USCIS is working on your file, or your file has been moved (probably to another box or another shelf.....)

Honestly, if you have a visa before 2010 I'll be surprised (since the beneficiary is from India).

NOA 2. Really?
