Once you get your EAD - you should be able to apply for the SSN. Perhaps they will accept your other paperwork to supply you one?

The chicken before egg issue, NO ID = no biometrics, no biometrics = NO EAD. NO EAD = NO ID.

What state do you live in? Can you apply for a learners permit at the DMV with just your birth certificate in your state? Might be worth a try.

I have a friend who was in a similar situation as u and he used his old college ID at the ASC and they accepted it, maybe u can find an old schol Id. Best of luck

What about obtaining an ITIN if you can't get a SS card? These are government issued..not sure what they look like and if you could use it though...?

No, it doesn't have a picture - just a form with your name and number on it.
