The processing times for Vermont, K1, seem to be decreasing. Hope it stays this way!! But what's wrong with Igor's list!? 10 approvals of VJ members on the 30th of April and then  silence!! Contradiction.

Or can it be that USCIS failing\forgetting\whatever to send e-mail notifications all of a sudden? What the hell.. :(

Last week, it appears that the employees of the VSC were asked to do something different than process K-1 petitions. I had started another thread looking for the same answer as you... There does not seem to be any answer forthcoming. We can only hope that their week of diversion has concluded and they will right start back in processing on Monday. Good Luck!

The list is also dependent on people updating their timelines...

And it does not include the 100's of people that are not on VJ getting processed.

My Advice is usually based on "Worst Case Scenario" and what is written in the rules/laws/instructions. That is the way I roll... -Protect your Status - file before your I-94 expires.

While there are non-VJ filers (poor souls) and of course not everyone updates their timelines ASAP... This still is VERY VERY unusual.

There was at least one approval last week... an early November filer got approved. It at least gives me hope that may case may not be lost! Please let me get approved next week!!!

ja-ja, I know there are dozens\hundreds who are not VJ-ers. And those who are careless or delay with their timeline updating. But still.

The contradiction is in the fact that K1 processing seems to be proceeding (even improving a little) - according to this site again - but no approvals among VJ-ers.

Who said the approximate processing times are based on our timelines? Contradiction. Where do they get these processing dates? Who said it's Jan 20th for Vermont today? VJ-ers' timelines that are exactly the same as they were 10 days ago?

Hey, I am not being driven nuts, not yet, it's just annoying..

There is a notice that I read on USCIS website that there is some Immigrant work visa's that had a deadline and it appears that both Cali & Vermont folks have been diverted to handle those to meet some deadline and not working on these for us at the moment. No where did it indicate any date or time to give any idea how long it could be. I am just hoping next week will will see some activity again here. At first I thought maybe there was a problem and people updates just weren't showing up but I tested it by changing something in my own time line and that updated immediately. SO...I believe people are simply not getting any info to update on their time lines right now. Things were starting to move so well and it is frustrating not seeing anything but hopefully soon it will get back to how it was moving. Good luck to all!

Don't know if this will make you feel better, but I just got my approval letter in the mail yesterday, my petition was filed Nov.3rd. I've updated my time line, but it has not shown up on Igor's list yet.

Oh yes, it's on the list.

Doesn't make me feel any better though.. It reminds me that some of us may have to wait for more than 6 months and be forced to talk to a senator!!

Congratulations! Glad to see two approvals that actually reduced my # in line. That's a welcome change.

How do you guys know that they have no approved any k-1 visas? Is there a link to follow? Or just from postings here?

When people here on VJ update their timelines, it shows on this list "Igor's list" and you can see the last 15 approvals on the top of this page. The link is in my signature but I will include it here for you also. http://www.visajourney.com/timeline/monthl...=2&sortby=2

Good luck!

Good luck!

Thank you. Best to you, as well. Do you think that we should get letters from family to show that our relationship is genuine?
