:help: Me and me fiance (japanese) just got her K-1 Visa back and she did the medical exam and police background checks. She also mailed off her biographic data again. My question is, Where do I send my I-134 form to? Same place where I sent my K-1 Visa application form? USCIS in california? How long does it take to process the I-134? Also, I am about to be deployed to for 7 months in september this year :crying: . Is it possible for her to possibly fly over to Hawaii and get married at city hall and can she fly back to Japan before I go on deployment to the gulf? I dont know what to do in my situtation. I am stationed in Pearl Harbor, and I will be in and out until the 1st week of June. I can possibly have my I-134 done before the month is over. Any feedback is appreciated. Arigato. :luv:

She hasn't got the K1 visa yet this is given by the Embassy after interview.

Normally she would take I-134 to the Embassy interview with other documents requested.

The K1 is a visa to enter the USA to get married, if you get married before she enters on the K1 you will have to file a new petition for your wife

Check HERE. The I-134 is for the interview stage - your fiancé will bring this with her to the interview so you would send it to her.

Once the visa is issued - your fiancé will have up to 6 months to enter the US then 90 days to marry you. Once she does, she will need to remain in the US (presumably that is your desire) until she obtains her PR/Green Card.

It is consulate specfic. Some consulates say to send it to your fiancee whop presents it at the interview, some say to send to the consulate. If it is a CR-1 you send to NVC. Check your consulate website for instructions.

If she flies to Hawaii and you get married, you will not be able to receive a K-1. You will abandon the K-1, lose the fee you paid and have to file a new petition for K-3 or CR-1.

There is no time to "process" the I-134. It is part of the interview package presented at (or sent ahead of) the interview.
