I had a touch, email, and received the NOA2 shortly after the email.

I had a touch earlier in the day, then like 5-6 hours later, a case update to approved, and shortly after that, an email. My paper copy arrived exactly a week later.

We had no touches until 3 days before we got the approval (NOA2) in the mail. Even then it wasn't exactly a touch since our status changed to approved that day too.

We received e-mail and right after i checked USCIS website and the status had changed. Hard copy received 5 days later in our mail box and the attorney got it too. Hope this helps

only a touch... e-mail came two to three weeks after the NOA2 hardcopy and case file already at the consulate

No not really. I am sure most people would love it if money could speed up the process. Unfortunatelly we all know that is not the case. We are all in the mercy of USCIS and US government praying for them to work faster
