BANGKOK – Thai soldiers sprayed automatic weapons fire and threw tear gas to clear anti-government protesters from a major intersection in the capital in the pre-dawn darkness Monday, with at least 70 people reported injured. Demonstrators responded by hurling at least one gasoline bomb at a line of troops.

Monday's clash marked a major escalation in the ongoing protests that have roiled this southeast Asian nation. The skirmish came a day after the country's ousted prime minister called for a revolution.

it's a bit different than the report from the thai press - as the protester hijacked 2 petrol (some type of gas... i forgot what it called) trucks and release the gas, ready to set it on fire...the truck contain 8 tons of gas... then they also set the bus.. which they hijacked - severl buses - on fire and throw gasoline bombs tat the military.. there're footage in the national news.

edit to say - I'm in Thailand right now

But when we turn to the Hebrew literature, we do not find such jokes about the donkey. Rather the animal is known for its strength and its loyalty to its master (Genesis 49:14; Numbers 22:30).

A bunch of drunken rednecks being controlled by a convicted criminal who sits in his luxury hotel suite in Dubai. If they are too stupid or drunk to realize they are being used as pawns by this power hungry convicted criminal ,they get what they deserve. Thaksin is too much of coward to come back to Thailand to serve his sentence like a man. If they don't pack up and head back to Isaan by tomorrow, I say the soldiers should level those weapons and use live ammo. Throw in some hand grenades for good measure.

Down off my soapbox now.
