By the way you were one of the ones that helped me when I started out. We are both on another message board and the help that you and others gave me was invaluable in putting my waiver letter together and answering questions about the visa process.

Immigrate2us.net

My screen name there is Douglas (I know not original)

I knew that!!! :)

I'm following your timeline and your case closely cause I'm right behind you on timing and waiver submission!

That's one of the reasons I commented on the difference in attitude - people who are serious respond to the help that others are offering by providing information and asking questions - and Daisy has done nothing of the sort!

A great marriage is not when the "perfect couple" comes together.

It is when an imperfect couple learns to enjoy their differences.

It's kind of amusing at this point - it's also because she comes back again on a new thread with the same questions and gets us all worked up again! What else can we do while we're waiting for approvals?

I have followed this thread for some time now. I would characterize most responses as helpful, yet I can certainly understand the frustration over the OP's lack of willingness to "pony up" the timeline.

Some of you asked for mine, just a short time ago. And you have it.

In any case, I won't comment on the age gap. Oh hell, why not, 40 years? give me a friggin break....we are talking May-December of another century for goodness sakes. Imagine yourself at 40 and your future SO isn't even born yet!!! A difficult concept indeed. However, to each his own.

If I were a CO, I would reject immediately. Not to mention the overstay piece. We are all allowed an opinion, aren't we?

Oh no! Glad you're somewhat OK. Do you have to sit on an inflatable donut now so you are not in pain?
