Bush won't criticize Obama, wants him to succeed

Odd how the left, all of a sudden is giving Bush an "atta'boy".

Maybe I posted it as a shot at Rush for hoping that Obama fails.

Again, what is it specifically you would expect Obama to do that any conservative would want to succeed?

Nothing. I would expect all Republicans and conseratives to sit on their lazy a$$es and ###### and moan at all that goes on around them and then refuse to participate in the solution when offered the chance. And keep up a constant diatribe about how nothing will work and how the country will be in trouble. Meanwhile conveniently forgetting that it was under their watch that this mess was created. Blame all others, take no responsibility yourself. Complain about the methods to recover, but offer none of your own. Worry more about your party platform than your country.

I think it was clear to all on the right that Bush in many ways was a poor standard bearer for Conservatism..... so why even compare Bush to Rush or any conservative?

Perhaps because people continued to defend Bush long after he'd proven himself to be a total incompetant and a national embarrassment to boot.

I don't care about Rush either - save that it amazes me how so many people cite him as a serious political figure.

But regardless - Bush is irrelevant also. We're well shot of him and nothing he says carries weight - the man is a political albatross.
