We were approved yesterday in Bolivia, my husband's interview was mostly waiting. He was asked one question. The important thing is that our loved ones are going to be with us very soon in the US =)

Here is the link for hotels in Delhi. Search for new delhi. I booked mine for 5 days at ITC Maurya and is only 5 minutes by cab from the US Embassy. There is another good one very close the US embassy called diplomat hotel but that is darn expensive. Park hotel in Connaught place and Matropolitan are nice and reasonable too. Hayat Regency is good and 10 minutes by cab from US embassy.

Congratulations cmnb, We were on the same time line as far as the visa process is going. I remember we were on the same forum subject, I believe it was December approvals. Any way my wife had a March 19 appointment for K3, but we canceled it to pursue for CR1. The CR1 case was completed on March 10 and now waiting for the appointment date. It was a little hard to get the police paper and the mailing back and forth took longer than we expected. Any way the case is in the final stages. Once again, congratulations for finishing the case and all the best in the future for both of you in your life together.

My husband had his interview today and passed it as well They only asked him like three simple questions and one of them was how did you meet, since we knew each other since we were children it was easy for him to answer. He will go pick up the visa later today.

i just wanted to let you know that my wife's CR-1 visa has been approved. the interview was easy but the wife was asked a lot of questions (atleast thats what i think..lol) i will try to remember all the questions but will write a detailed review in the new delhi section later on. here it goes:

1.does your husband work at XXXXXX?

2. how did you meet? (asked for specific details)

3. so you have been to the US? how many times?

4. what are the names of his parents and siblings?

5. where did you go for your honeymoon?

6. can you show me your wedding album?

7. can you point out in the album, who is who?

8. where in the US does he live?

9. how long did you know each other before you decided to get married?

congratulations, your visa has been approved and you will recieve it within 5-7 business days!

besides everything, as always, i want to thank all my fellow vjers and this site for making this journey much less painful then it really was. the time flew by ranting and yelling but there was always someone to hear your voice. and that means a lot....thank you!
