I know this is probably an extraneous thread....

....I'm assuming noone has gotten notices of RFE's let alone recieved them from CSC, but has anyone been speaking to them? Heard anything about what they are up to?

I've been emailing them daily...very politely of course, asking "if they had sent out my RFE for compliance with IMBRA" but so far no info. I did get touched on the 13th of June, my first since our NOA1 on 3/22.

I havent gotten them on the phone, but I just wanted to see what everyone else had on their minds.

There are a lot of posts about the VSC sending RFE's along with all the transfers to CSC from other centers and whats going on there, but not much regarding those of us who actually sent to CSC and are waiting for news. Anything you could share would be very much obliged!

btw...yes, filling out my timeline really soon.!!!!!

My NOA1 is 4/6.

I too have had a lot of touches, the most recent being on 6/17. I was transferred from NSC to CSC and recieved the 6/14 email saying that they had recieved my petition.

Still nothing about RFE. Surely if VSC is getting theirs on the move CSC cant be too far behind can they? I sure hope not.

Does anyone have a number for them that actually reaches a human being eventually?

WOW ... i am so glad I found this site.

I live in Ontario ... my fiance lives in Utah ... we plan on living in utah post-wedding. we filled initially at the NSC in April 2006 ... and then of course come June ... our case is transferred to California. #######? thankfully this site and your comments have shed some light on the situation. my fiance has yet to recieve this new paperwork to fill out. does anyone know what exactly it involves? what i'm curious to know is what submission date the CSC is recognizing: a) our original date of april 24th (at the NSC) OR B) our new June 14th date at the CSC. it sort of makes things a little challenging when planning a wedding. we were originally planning on january or february .. but for now we've put all on hold for now.

Hi!

Can anyone tell me what they are doing at the CSC?

We got transferred from NSC to CSC on 6/1 and they only say they received our papers on 6/14 - what's up?

If the process takes too long and wedding plans have all been set, is it possible to withdraw a K1, get married and file a K3 instead?

Since you just filed, you will be waiting awhile. If you look at the timelines for other people in California or that were transferred from Nebraska you will see that most go back to when IMBRA began March 6th. There are some others that date back to January and February.

We got touched two days in a row last week, but no emails and no RFE yet. Maybe a little hope for those of you with a nearby NOA1 waiting on a touch.
