Has anybody ever grown tomatoes inside the home?

I can't have a garden outside so I am thinking of growing tomatoes inside. Have any of you ever tried this? If so what was the result. Do you have any tips for growing them inside?

I have grown tomatoes from seed inside but I plant them outside eventually. It can be done but tomatoes require lots and lots of sunlight so it makes it difficult inside without grow lights. You can grow them outside in pots

I was thinking of getting one of those but I thought maybe when you water it the water will come down onto the floor.

Friend uses one of those air gardens to plant tomatoes and some herbs. Swears by it - no need for soil, just put a small tablet with nutrients in the water, seeds are in the pod and you have your tomatoes in no time.

Just be careful what you say when they ask you about the hydroponics

And come to think of it, you're right, roi aggie - cannabis would indeed be a more profitable use of hydroponics. Certainly more of a profit margin than tomatoes

I am thinking (on a more serious note) of starting my tomatoes again indoors this year. I did that a couple of years ago, on my kitchen table, and they did very nicely until I planted them outside

Problem with doing that, if you start drawing too much current or heat, or mistake, you may risk getting your door kicked in, because the police thinks your growing some mary jane....
