ahhh, i se your point now...shouldn't post when half asleep, lol. I live with my grandma at the moment so i'm not putting a home number, only a mobile. she's practically deaf so theres no point anyone calling my home number, lol. For occupation i was going to leave it blank just because on the example form it says 'name if known' and seeing as how i don't have a job lined up or anything.....i've no idea what i will be doing, lol.

The school one though......i thought i knew what i was going to write...but now i've looked again i'm not sure, i was going to write my high school and dates attended, i was going to list course of study as secondary school and write the grade that i completed to as degree or diploma. although maybe i shouldn't put anything under degree or diploma??

Finally time for AOS.......

12/07/11 Sent AOS package

12/09/11 AOS package delivered

12/14/11 Received NOA for I-485 and I-765 (we're not applying for AP)

12/22/11 Received letter for Biometrics

01/04/12 Biometrics in Phoenix

01/31/12 Received email update from USCIS saying that we've been scheduled for an interview

02/03/12 Got an email saying card production had been ordered for my EAD...now just to wait for the card...

02/09/12 Received email saying EAD card has been sent

02/13/12 Received EAD card :D :D :D :D

03/06/12 Interview in Phoenix :).....Approved :D

03/14/12 Received Green card in mail.....

Thanks for the info back, With the school just add the Highschool and dates you attended and leave blank or N/A the course. I think it only applies if its for College or Uni.

& kiria try not to stress. It will come this week. Fingers crossed for you

congrats on the approval, my wife and stepson interview tuesday the 12th so we are trying to get the travel worked out also.

your cutting it tight but its possable, depends on how fast auspost is, consulate advertises 2 days to process visa, that would be wednesday and thursday, that would put it in post on friday, my wife tells me that no mail moves on saturday or sundays in Oz but if auspost is on the ball you should have it in hand monday and be able to leave on tuesday.

dont forget to post a consulate review

Im filling out the DS-230 form and got a few questions for you guys,

would appreciate the help :)

1. Question#13 Contact numbers: Home or Office.

I only have a mobile. Can i put my parents home #?

2. Question#22 In what occupation do you intend to work in the United States?

I dont know excatly as I dont have work lined up, do I leave it blank or N/A or none? Or the industry im in now?

3. Question#23 all educational institutions attended....

Do I just add my High School if thats all that was attended? And Course Study Left blank? cause it was high school?

Thanks Guys.

1. Just put your home number and mobile in there.. thats all i did, they wont ring you, it will be all email really.. you will get a form in P3 asking for an email address if you want to do it that way which i did cos it was quicker..

2. Just say N/A

3. I just put in my diplomas and certificates i had done, cos on another form i had to put my school information..

hope this helps..
