He said he had the ring with him all along, hiding (we were at the beach and i didn't notice him hiding the ring box in his shorts, which was unconfortable)

Was it a ring box in his shorts or was he just pleased to see you?

I hope for nessa's sake it didn't fit OVER something.......

But when we turn to the Hebrew literature, we do not find such jokes about the donkey. Rather the animal is known for its strength and its loyalty to its master (Genesis 49:14; Numbers 22:30).

Ok, I was one of those people who didn't believe in long distance relationship. I meet Tracy while I was attending a good friend's wedding there in Manila. Over the past 2 years Tracy and her daughter become a part of my life. When I was there in Dec of 2005 for a visit, I had not plan to ask Tracy to married me. The night before I was planning to leave Manila and return to the States, I couldn't sleep. I was up all night thinking about if I should ask her to marry me. When Tracy along with her daughter drove me to the airport, I knew I wanted them to be a part of my life. Inside the airport we said our goodbyes and hug each other, Tracy turn to walk out the door of the airport, I called her name. She turn around, I ask her to married me. Tracy started to cry and said YES!!! When I flew back to her in May, I gave her the ring and we started the paper work for her K1 visa.

Here's my blog entry from that day. Easier than typing it all out. lol

04/06/06: April 6th, 2006

Well..... Larry's life has changed quite a bit recently. For the better, of course.

Yesterday, I drove Sian out into the wilderness. I assume she was probably anticipating being brutally murdered and buried in the rich Indiana soil. I decided that would be rather a waste, really, so I instead let her experience the ultimate in Indiana fun.... 4 wheeling. lol. We arrived at "4 Arches", a railroad bridge that crosses a country road. There's a "trail" that runs up the bank beside the bridge. Trail is in quotes because it's really just two ruts that are 14" or so below the surface of the surrounding ground. At the top, you come suddenly upon the railroad tracks. We had just reached the tracks when a freight train went flying by. Sian stared in amazement at the length of the train.

After the train had passed, I turned around and drove back down to the road. Shortly thereafter, we arrived at Fern Cliffs. Someone had left a perfectly-sized "walking stick" near the entrance, which I claimed as my own. We walked the trail and looked at the trees and such. Finally, we came to the cliffs. Although few of the trees have started budding yet, the ferns and moss were a brilliant green. I pointed her down a path between 2 rocks/cliffs. The rocks were completely covered with moss, and there were small ferns growing on the ledges. There were no sounds other than the normal forest sounds. In other words, it was perfect.

I turned Sian to face me, looked in her eyes, and told her that I loved her. She affirmed her love for me also. Then I asked her if she'd marry me. She said yes. So I dug around in my pocket and came out with the ring I had brought with me.

I expected the ring to be too small. The conversion from UK to US sizes said that the ring should be a size 8. The ring was a size 6. It fit perfectly.

We finished our hike around Fern Cliffs - with Sian walking every fallen log along the way - and drove back to town. What else could a newly engaged couple in Indiana do but head to "Dairy Castle"? Aye, we went to Diary Castle, got an order of breaded mushrooms for us to split, a Reese's cup flurry for her and an Oreo flurry for me. Then we went home and devoured our engagement "meal".

It was a perfect day, really.

Lady, people aren't chocolates. Do you know what they are mostly? Bastards. ####### coated bastards with ####### filling. But I don't find them half as annoying as I find naive bobble-headed optimists who walk around vomiting sunshine.

Before knowing we'd get married, we started making plans about moving to CA together and sharing an apartment there. We had that idea for about 2 weeks... but one day he said we could have 2 bedrooms if I wanted it to be that way... that's when I said I wanted only one bedroom and I said that I wanted to spend the rest of my life with him and he said "Are you serious?" so I said "Why don't you ask me?" so he said "Will you marry me?" :luv: Those were not the exact words but that's how it happened!

Then on June 4th he named a star after me to make it official.... the bestest present EVER! And by naming it after me I mean my name + his last name :luv: and included "You're the only star in my sky. Will you marry me?" in the Star Deed.

Then when he got here in Brazil he proposed with the ring and it was beautiful..... we were in my apartment, in the balcony, staring at the ocean and he told me to wait there a minute.... he went to my bedroom to get the ring and came back. Then he got down on his knee and asked me if I'd marry him. :crying::luv:

I love him!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (L)(L)(L) hehe
