I watch IGORS list because,, well,, there is not much else to do. It seems like over the past 2 - 3 weeks they have been moving right along with about 30+ IGORS approvals per week. This fits right in line with my estimated NOA2 date and the standard processing timeline.

It was an especially nice day to break into the 300's and see them processing a 10/1/08 case! :)

What is your take on things?

It appears that they're finally picking up the pace again, which definitely makes me happy because my NOA1 is from 10/29! Hopefully I'll be in the next month or so, but at the rate they're going now it might be less than that! Take a look at this:

It's a collection of all the data from people's timelines on VJ.

Here is the list for VSC http://www.visajourney.com/timeline/monthl...=2&sortby=2

You can follow all the approvals on it.

Sure hope VSC keeps on moving!! I've still got some time to wait...we just sent in the files end of Dec. But that's ok...as much as I want this all behind me...I have some major plans this spring to be out of country for about 6 weeks! The majority of it is spending time with Tim in SC. However...every approval makes me happy, :D , because that's one less file in Vermont that they have to go through!!

What is your take on things?

My take on things is as follows:

The order in which VSC processes cases disgusts me. I am happy for the october fillers who have recieved their NOA2s. But there are still many people who filled in July, August and September who have not recieved a touch or an RFE. Thankfully only 7 in July according to igor's list but still around 60 for August and 40 for September. taken from the Sept VSC forum :

They approved someone who filed in JULY yesterday....fair enough they had to wait until mid August for their NOA1 but they've still been waiting since July...there is no rhyme or reason to how they select the petitions......you can't approve Oct/Nov people and then, 'oh look, heres one from July I just found on my desk', it can't be right!! Please Vermont, just approve me or touch me, anything as long as I know i've not been forgotten!! :P

and taken directly from my file on the USCIS website:

On September 25, 2008, we received this I129F PETITION FOR FIANCE(E), and mailed you a notice describing how we will process your case. Please follow any instructions on this notice. We will notify you by mail when we make a decision or if we need something from you. If you move while this case is pending, call customer service. We process cases in the order we receive them. You can use our processing dates to estimate when yours will be done. This case is at our VERMONT SERVICE CENTER location. Follow the link below to check processing dates. You can also receive automatic e-mail updates as we process your case. Just follow the link below to register.

cough cough.. BS.

On a postive note I am also happy so see so many igor's approvals for February already. My position on igor's has moved far in the past 2 weeks. Thankfully everyone on VJ is so supportive because if it wasnt for the support of my other Sept fillers I would likely be more upset with VSC then I currently am. Sure I want my petition to be approved but i dont want anyone else to wait longer then me either.

You need to enter your NOA1 date onto your timeline for it to show on Igor's list.
