I haven't been "touched" since 10-13-08? Can I hear from you guys who have heard something? What is the next step after NOA? It has been such a long wait.

Hang in there. you are so close.

VSC approved so many of Sept filers and I'm one of them .

Good luck and my best wishes for you

Nothing's impossible . Nothing's unreachable .When I am weary you make me stronger

This love is beautiful .So unforgettable . I feel no winter cold when we are together .

Will you stand by me ?!!!Hold on and never let me go .

Will you stand by me?!! With you i know i belong . When the story gets told .

When day turns into night .I look into your eyes . I see my future now .All the world and its wonder

This love wont fade away. And through the hardest days . I will never question us .You are the reason my only reason.

I'm blessed to find what i need in a world loosing hope. you are my only believe .

You make things right every time after time.....

Will you stand by me ?!!!

I love you so much and i miss you so much more .

Hey hang in there!i know how you feel. We are also waiting like you. After NOA1, we are waiting for the NOA2 which would make us busy, for medical and interview. :) Once we receive the NOA2 everything will be fast. Joseph and I are getting anxious too but the good news is we dont have to wait that long anymore....the long wait is over....

I am spending time with my family and friends coz i know once i get in the states, i will be missing them and it will take a year or two before i see them again.

Hang in there! Everything will be fine... I always check our timeline to see if there are changes. We are hoping for the best....and that will be sooner....

Good luck to our journey!

God bless!

yeah...same as all u guys. Im getting anxious too. It has to be soooo close. If our cases had been sent to California instead of Vermont we would have been approved already. Just hang in there. It could be any day now!! 5 years from now when u look back it will seem like a brief time.

To answer your question, after NOA2 your file is sent to the National Visa Center. They look it over and then forward it to the embassy of the country of the beneficiary. It typically takes less than a week. Occasionally, files are stuck in what's called AP (Administrative Processing) and it takes longer. AP is mainly additional background checks. You can call the NVC and check up on your case. They'll tell you when it's been forwarded to the embassy and assign you a case number.

Once the embassy has your case, they'll mail out packet 3 with a bunch of forms to fill out and information on how to schedule your medical. You return them, have your medical, and then you'll get packet 4 which contains your interview date.

After your case has arrived at the embassy, you can then call the Department of State to find out updates on your case. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to message me! We're using the London embassy too.

We got touched on Saturday of all days. And somebody else, late September got approved on Friday as well. About 40% of September petitioners have been approved. While I would love to be approved today, this week or very soon whenever that may be, I'm just simply glad to see Vermont working again!!! :innocent:
