I hear the formula is half your age plus 5 years. I am 47 years old so 47 divided by 2 =23.5 + 5 years =28.5.

After 135 votes, I found out that on average:

1) US male is 8.0 years older than his counterpart

2) US female is 1.7 years older than her counterpart

Assumptions Used in the Calculation: (1) A person who said he/she is "from x to y years" older is on average (x+y)/2 years older, (2) A person who said he is more than 20 years older is on average 28 years old (it is made up number which I think is a reasonable guess in the absence of an exact figure provided by the voters)

Statistical Conclusion: Since both US males and females are older than their counterparts, factors other than love may also be involved in some of these relationships.

Not just Filipinas...according to GiGii here, those age/weight disparate "African relationship" are subject to the yuk. Dominion, ####### may be a bit insulting, but GiGii I wouldn't necessarily judge all books by their cover....
