I don't think anyone has said raising Aids awareness is a bad thing no matter what the means. It is however somewhat purile to attach 'religious' strings to raising awareness, as if religious zeal can prevent one from catching disease.

We just went through an election season where we hashed and rehashed everything he did wrong. He did a lot wrong. But in these last few days of his Presidency, it's not a bad idea to focus on what he did right.

and still not a thing about him funding aids awareness in africa.

Liberals hate it because the money comes with abstinence strings attached. Apparently,

no money is better than billions of dollars spent teaching abstinence which according to

them "doesn't work".

Nice misrepresentation but there are more options than "no money".

Why was it necessary to hobble that legislation by attaching dubious conditions about abstinence?

The only thing Bush got right or will get right will be leaving office! What a waste, the man has done so much to hurt this country it isn't even funny. The man has made the whole country look bad, terrible in fact!

Bush is certainly one of the worst presidents in recent memory. There have been worse presidents in the countrys history, but those didn't have the global hegemony we have today. On that basis bush may well be the worst yet!

bush sponored a stimlus check last year..and allowed me to fence in past of my other house next door...

I used that money to offset a part of our property tax increases. Governor claims we are not getting back our share of federal income taxes, therefore has to increase taxes. But apparently not enough, still 5.6 billion bucks short.

Thought the republican party was conservative. With that mad spending, everyone is broke, don't I even get stock shares in Iraq?
