     It's been 5 months since our NOA1 and still nothing...
We filed in July '08 & received our NOA1 on August 18, 2008. Anyone else been waiting around this long???
For those of you who have more experience than us with this whole VISA thing,
should 5 months of waiting for NOA2 be a reason to worry or is this normal? Please help...

Look at your timeline:

Based on timeline data, your I129f may be adjudicated between January 22, 2009 and February 8, 2009.

You are close.

I do look at it, but it keeps changing everyday. It used to say, "Based on timeline data, your I129f may be adjudicated between December 11, 2008 and December 26, 2008." But look at it now.... it says our petition should be adjudicated between January 22, 2009 and February 8, 2009. :( SERIOUSLY, the dates on our timeline change EVERY SINGLE DAY. They are never consistent. Tomorrow the dates will probably change again like they did today. I'm starting to think that the timelines here on VJ are not as accurate as some people say they are. I dunno.... I just dunno what to think or expect anymore. :( I guess all we can do is wait... and wait... and WAIT...

In happy moments... PRAISE God.

In difficult moments... SEEK God.

In quiet moments... WORSHIP God.

In painful moments... TRUST God.

At every moment... THANK God.

VSC has slowed down these past weeks....

Gosh, I wonder why??? They used to be sooooo much faster that CSC, and now look at them. :(

There are barely any approvals showing up here on VJ. It's not like before.

Oh by the way.... CONGRATULATIONS on your approval! I know you guys filed very close to the time

that we filed. :D This gives me hope! :) I wish you both the best of luck on what's left of your journey.

You're in my prayers. :) Good luck & best wishes!

May God grant you both a life FULL of happiness & love. :)

I swear to GOD I feel your pain & frustration. :( We're the same too. We sent our file in July '08 & received our NOA1 on August 18th. We've only had one touch since then which was only a few days after our NOA1. There's been no news since then. Seriously, I don't know what the hold up is with them either. :( I wish they knew just HOW BAD we're ALL HURTING so that they could speed up the process a little more. The waiting is killing us! :( You're in my prayers, sweetie. May God grant us all a smooth and speedy approval. Keep me posted on how things are coming along with you okay? :) I hope you & I both hear some good news from USCIS soon!

Nothing's impossible . Nothing's unreachable .When I am weary you make me stronger

This love is beautiful .So unforgettable . I feel no winter cold when we are together .

Will you stand by me ?!!!Hold on and never let me go .

Will you stand by me?!! With you i know i belong . When the story gets told .

When day turns into night .I look into your eyes . I see my future now .All the world and its wonder

This love wont fade away. And through the hardest days . I will never question us .You are the reason my only reason.

I'm blessed to find what i need in a world loosing hope. you are my only believe .

Don't worry. We had filed late June and just got approved this past week even though nothing was wrong with our case!!! We were some of the late June approvals but still there are others from June still waiting. I pray for all of you!! If you wait past 6 months, try to get a hold on your congressmen to inquire about your case!! Good luck!

watching timelines will make you crazy watching the changes, your best watch is if your on a spreadsheet with others in the same situation. This way you can keep watch of those near you and watch the progression of the dates, i would guess close to six months now would be close.
