Thats the most funniest documentation that I have ever read in my entire life................And I hope not to read something like this in my future life as well...............

You find it a funniest document u have ever seen in your life. would you dare to deal with such high volume of customers queries, emails on every day basis. I am sure, you will be quitting this job in a week or so...and that would be funny ... but dear ppl at USCIS try their best to give you up to date info and one more thing whenever you call them, they will surely pick up your call in one bell. so don't say its funny, you are insulting their efforts they do everyday. Working at a place where you are talking to thousands of ppl from all around the world for their immi queries is one daring job and i myself appreciate it but not finding it funny

It says they have 16,000 employees but not all of those process applications. some have other jobs;

You have the people at the call center, there job is to make sure most people dont get past the recorded message and if you do to make sure you get someone who doesnt know what is going on.

Then you have the supervisors who check up on the few that are working the applications

Then you have the supervisors supervisors, I really dont know what they do.

Then you have cleaning and maintance workers

You also have the ones that make sure the webite isnt working properly.

So when you narrow it all down, using a highly classified math eqasion that leaves

2 workers at each service center and one is out on sick leave.

Of course, that report was written for higher-ups and the Congress. Like all such federal fluff, it doesn't provide documentation. A recent college graduate friend of mine was hired by USCIS and without betraying any confidentiality requirement, tells me that each day's processing workload is overwhelming in her office and that they are regularly called in to work on weekends to keep up with it.

This is hilarious Hollis - where did you find this? I think all government offices are the same no matter what country or what department! Let's just hope they speed up in 2009!
