If my body weren't so worn out tired I'd be roller skating on the ceiling or something:)

I've actually been intending to post one of the two things since earlier this morning, then when the other came along I was going to do both at once, but.....there is this one thread that just keeps sucking me in like a vaccum every time I come over to the computer, and I can't escape it ... until now but I don't know how long it'll last!

Anyway, here's my good stuff.

My hubby was approved thursday and picked up his visa friday last week. He was going to delay coming home for about a week until he tied up some loose ends up there and sold his car. Although I've been having some stress here, with my daughter being sick and dealing all that, this was managable all things considered, we've waited this long I could hold on another week. Today, I also had my annual cancer exam, it's not pleasant but it's well worth it. The type of cancer I had often has no noticable symptoms until it's too late, it's a bit stressful as I approach the appointment date each year but nothing I can't handle.

Well, yesterday in the midst of a million other things happening all at once, the phone rings and he announces he's coming home, today! Poor guy the reaction he got was not what would have been expected, I was quite stressed out at the moment and although happy couldn't get the w00 h00 thing going .

He couldn't deal with the idea of me having to face that exam alone. It's not a comfortable procedure, and the cancer not only can sneak up on you unawares, it can return at any time.....there is no 10 year; figure your cured with this insidious evil thing. So, at 5:00 this morning I picked him up at the bus station and MY HUBBY IS HOME! HOME! HOME! (kinda ET style there).

And now for the results of my annual exam...

As of today I am officially 14 years cancer free.

So until next year...I can kiss that worry goodbye.

It's funny, I'm so very tired and I'm still a bit uncomfortable from the exam..physically I feel bleah, but inside I am one very happy girl today :)

Will post and tell you about his fiasco at the border later, it's quite humorous in a bit of a Abbot and Costello sort of way.

Very interesting, I posted this, and thought about that other thread I keep getting sucked into, and another thread that I nearly posted on a couple of days ago regarding something I'm have personal experience with, and I got to thinking, I'm either one extremely lucky person (though what makes me lucky sometimes can appear just the opposite), or I've things yet to do.....

Thank you, and yes he is incredibly sweet and caring. When we got home today he handed getting dinner ready and let me rest and relax after my exam even though he had been up all night on the bus.
