What I don't understand at all is why it matters? Really...why should those marriages be annulled? Because it's a domino effect. If the marriages are annulled then all other rights are taken away too. Health and life insurance for spouses only? Well, if the marriage is annulled, then there is no spouse, which means that insurance coverage isn't available. Is that fair? If Mary and Alice are married but that is taken away and Mary gets into a serious accident and is on life-support in the hospital...guess what? Alice can't go see her. Alice also can't let doctors know what Mary's wishes are supposing she doesn't have a living will.

That, IMHO, is immoral.

because one thing is to say marriage is between a man and a woman just because.. and it's another to say marriage it's between a man and a woman, because if not, it's some sort of evil abomination.. that is too arrogant IMO, ok if you dont want 2 guys getting married, but it's too judgemental to say they shouldn't get married because its immoral blablabla.. we're no one to judge if another person is immoral or not because of sexual preferences..

i also think that the concept of marriage for conception and population reasons is outdated, there are many married couples that don't want any kids, that basically discredits that argument..

Most hospitals ie Drs and nurses let the lesbins see each other, they have kids together as well and life and death wishes are relayed. It can, whether it should, and if it does get done, and those that do it are the only ones that need worry about it unless, of course, those that get antsy about protesting it somehow have a deep-rooted closet fascination with it. Some folks' intolerance levels are merely that... intolerance towards things that are mysteriously not 'done' by them but somehow prone to banish them to the land of immorality that must be applied to all independent of their being themselves immoral for imposing themselves.
