hey guys,

how was i not aware of this site? i'm one of the mysterious sept 08 filers that never made an appearance in these forums until now. ive been a peace corps volunteer in ukraine for the past 27 months and now im working on a (fiance) visa so that he can come over to be with me!

I sent my petition in on Sept 13th and received NOA1 on Sept 16th! As of now, I'm just waiting like the rest of you :)

Welcome! It is a great site. Fortunately I found it before we filed and it has been a great help all along. We are now in the AOS process.

I always go straight to the "portals" section. It will take you directly to the "ukraine portals" where you will see posts from all areas regarding Ukraine. It is good as it is specific to wat you will be going through. Be glad you are dealing with Kiev, a really good consulate that is rather easy to get through, just follow all the rules and provide all the documents and you should have no problems.

I also lived in Ukraine for 2 years and it was a great adventure and I really enjoy going back to visit as often as possible.
